Illusion Point: Ahangama's Favorite Break
Located directly on a point break and in the neighborhood of various surf points, we invite beginners, intermediaries, and pros, to paddle out with us.
Illusion Point is a left hand point break, which offers a smooth ride on most days, and can get big on others. Either way, it is consistently clean and just a paddle out from our hotel at Illusion Cove.

Basing yourself in Ahangama is perfect as many surf points are just a stone throw away: Kabalana Beach – The Rock, Midigama – Rams and Lazy Lefts, Marshmellows, Sticks, and further afield the beaches of Dewata and Weligama.

Along with your stay at Illusion Cove and Jungle, you can also book private surf lessons with us from certified professional coaches. Both beginners and intermediaries are recommended to take these classes. Bring your own boards or you use one provided by us.
Your coaches will select the best surf spot for you depending on weather, swell, and season. Transportation is included and, if you are staying at Illusion Jungle, our coaches can still take you out.
